Maryland High School Softball - Hammond falls to Long Reach
April 11, 2024: Columbia, MD 21045 In Thursday's league outing, the host Long Reach Lightning softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Hammond Golden Bears.
Coming up next, the Lightning battle the Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) in a Howard County outing, on Monday, April 15. Long Reach will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The enter the outing with a 3-3 record after their 16-1 league win over Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).
The Golden Bears (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks enter the Howard County outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, River Hill was routed by Reservoir (Fulton, MD), 25-11, in a league outing.
