The Corbin Redhounds baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Russell County Lakers to 2 in the Redhounds non-league win on Friday.

The Redhounds now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitley County for a District 50 test on Monday, April 14. Corbin will play a Colonels team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Colonels record now stands at 11-2.

With the defeat, Russell County drops to 10-5 on the year. The Lakers host Clinton County (Albany, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a District 16 test on Monday, April 14. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-3.
