The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) and the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), saw Geneva's baseball team beat Naperville North by a margin of 9-7.

The Vikings (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the DuKane challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton-Warrenville South by York (Elmhurst, IL), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Naperville North drops to 4-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Romeoville lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
