West Virginia High School Baseball - Wheeling Park loses to GVCS Broadfording
April 11, 2025: Wheeling, WV 26003 In Friday's non-league bout, the GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), by a tally of 12-0.
Next up, the Lions encounter the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. GVCS Broadfording will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Timberwolves enter the bout with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
The Patriots (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins enter the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Hurricane was overwhelmed by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 3-1, in a league bout.
