Illinois High School Baseball - Plainfield North holds off Joliet West
April 11, 2025: Joliet, IL 60435 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) and the host Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), saw Plainfield North's baseball team gain a win over Joliet West by a tally of 5-1.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers enter the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Coal City held off Peotone (Peotone, IL), 12-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Joliet West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Boilermakers enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 5-2 league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
