Missouri High School Baseball - Smithton edges Norborne
April 11, 2025: Norborne, MO 64668 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Smithton Tigers (Smithton, MO) and the host Norborne Pirates (Norborne, MO), saw Smithton's baseball team gain a win over Norborne by a tally of 16-13.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against New Franklin (New Franklin, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, New Franklin held off Northwest (Hughesville, MO), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Pirates face the Crest Ridge Cougars (Centerview, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Norborne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 21-1 league loss to St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO).
