In Friday's non-league bout, the Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN), by a tally of 6-5.

Next up, the Raiders encounter the Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. Southern Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).
