The South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN) baseball trounced the host Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN), 12-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Switzerland County for a Ohio River Valley challenge on Monday, April 14. South Ripley will clash with a Pacers team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Christian Academy (New Albany, IN). The Pacers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Waldron drops to 1-2 on the year. The Mohawks host Brown County (Nashville, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Brown County lost 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN)
