In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Westerly Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Waterford Lancers.

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their game against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the Division 1 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, East Providence nudged Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 9-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Lancers play the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Division I game, on Tuesday, April 15. Waterford will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
