Illinois High School Baseball - Kewanee defeats Erie-Prophetstown
April 11, 2025: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Kewanee Boilermakers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Erie-Prophetstown Panthers to 8 in the Boilermakers league win on Friday.
The Boilermakers now hold a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hall for a test on Monday, April 14. Kewanee will play a Red Devils team coming off a 15-6 league loss to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Erie-Prophetstown drops to 2-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-2. Sherrard won 7-4 in their recent league test against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)
