In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Queen Creek Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 14-8 win over the Red Mountain Mountain Lions.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks come into the bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Williams Field tipped Kellis (Glendale, AZ), 16-14, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions clash with the Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Red Mountain will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ).
