North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Ashley overwhelms Willow Spring

April 11, 2025: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-8 triumph over the Willow Spring Storm.

The Screaming Eagle (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Hough held off Providence Day (Charlotte, NC), 13-8, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Storm meet the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River contest, on Tuesday, April 15. Willow Spring will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Bengals go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 20-8 league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
