Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Newport - Bellevue moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A KingCo test on Tuesday, April 15.
