Iowa High School Soccer - West Burlington knocks off Solon
April 11, 2025: Solon, IA 52333 In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting West Burlington Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Solon Spartans.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Fort Madison got by Fairfield (Fairfield, IA), 4-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a WaMaC-East outing, on Tuesday, April 15. Solon will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
