The Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) softball nipped the visiting Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 24-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hahnville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 15. Assumption will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 25-7.
