In Friday's league match, the host Moorhead Spuds softball squad scored a good 11-2 triumph over the Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators.

With the triumph, Moorhead improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spuds host Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to face the Bison in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. The Bison enter the contest with a record of 1-3.
