Minnesota High School Softball - Brainerd edges Owatonna
April 11, 2025: Brainerd, MN 56401 In Friday's non-league match, the host Brainerd Warriors softball team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Owatonna Huskies.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm come into the Central Lakes match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Sauk Rapids-Rice nipped Anoka (Anoka, MN), 8-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the John Marshall Rockets (Rochester, MN) in a Big 9 match, on Monday, April 14. Owatonna will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 12-3 league loss to Century (Rochester, MN).
