In Friday's non-league test, the River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) softball squad got by the visiting East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley League test, on Tuesday, April 22. River Valley will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Raging Rhinos go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 14-5 league win over Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA).

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Winters (Winters, CA). The Warriors go into the Sacramento Valley test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Winters was nudged by Durham (Durham, CA), 12-3, in a league test.
