Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ), 8-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Globe advances its record to 6-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ) to battle the Bears in a 3A Central match on Tuesday, April 14. The Bears come into the match with a record of 8-8. Coolidge lost 18-0 in their recent league match against Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ)

The Wildcats now have a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuba City for a 3A North match on Monday, April 13. Chinle will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 13-7.
