In Saturday's non-league game, the host Elgin Comets baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Riverdale Falcons.

The Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Fighting Hornets go into the Northwest Central game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Cory-Rawson was overwhelmed by Arcadia (Arcadia, OH), 13-4, in a non-league game.
