In Saturday's non-league bout, the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA), by a tally of 12-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) in a Westside League bout, on Tuesday, April 14. Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
