Tennessee High School Baseball - Smith County defeats Stewarts Creek
April 11, 2026: Carthage, TN 37030 The Smith County Owls baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Stewarts Creek Red Hawks to 3 in the Owls non-league win on Saturday.
The Owls now own a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they host Overton for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 15. Smith County will play a Bobcats team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-9.
With the defeat, Stewarts Creek drops to 7-13 on the year. The Red hawks travel to LaVergne (LaVergne, TN) to play the Wolverines in a 4A District 7 test on Monday, April 13. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 8-13. LaVergne won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Antioch (Antioch, TN)
