The Cypress Centurions edged the visiting Kennedy Fighting Irish softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Centurions meet the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) in a Crestview challenge, on Tuesday, April 14. Cypress will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Mariners enter the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 10-8 league win over El Modena (Orange, CA).

The Fighting Irish (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Argonauts enter the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record.
