April 11, 2026: Hertford, NC 27944 In Saturday's non-league test, the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) softball squad the host Perquimans County Pirates (Hertford, NC), by a tally of 4-0.
Next, the Knights meet the Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach test, on Tuesday, April 14. Kellam will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Sundevils go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Maury (Norfolk, VA).
The Pirates (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Hickory edged St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
