In Saturday's non-league match, the host Metamora Redbirds softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Normal University Pioneers.

The Redbirds (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Huntley notched a victory over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 23-7, in a league match.
