April 12, 2021: Burlington, CT 06013 Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting East Hartford Hornets (East Hartford, CT), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hall for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 14. Lewis Mills will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, East Hartford falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Hartford Public (Hartford, CT) to battle the Owls in a Central Connecticut - East challenge on Friday, April 16. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
