Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), 16-5 in a non-league battle.

The Wreckers now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwich for a Fairfield County-West battle on Thursday, April 14. Staples will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
