California High School Softball - Westmont bounces Cupertino
April 12, 2022: Cupertino, CA 95014 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) and the host Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), saw Westmont's softball squad achieve victory over Cupertino by a count of 11-1.
The Warriors now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 20. Westmont will face a Lions squad coming off a 30-1 league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Lions record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Cupertino falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA) to face the Vikings in a match on Thursday, April 14. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-6. Palo Alto lost 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
