April 12, 2023: Bethesda, MD 20814 Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Bethesda-Chevy Chase upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Barons travel to Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Vikings in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Friday, April 14. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-1. Whitman won 6-2 in their recent league test against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
With the defeat, Walter Johnson falls to 6-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wootton (Rockville, MD) to battle the Patriots in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Saturday, April 15. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 5-3. Wootton lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
