Washington High School Baseball - Mt. Baker loses to Lynden
April 12, 2023: Deming, WA 98244 The Lynden Lions crushed the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers baseball team by a tally of 12-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Lions now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bellingham for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Friday, April 14. Lynden will face a Bayhawks team coming off a 7-3 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Bayhawks record now stands at 1-4.
Next, the Mountaineers face the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Friday, April 14. Mt. Baker will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-5 record after their 5-1 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
