April 12, 2023: Bethel Park, PA 15102 The Bethel Park Black Hawks lacrosse squad (Bethel Park, PA), was overwhelmed 16-7 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA)
Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 contest, on Friday, April 14. Mt. Lebanon will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA).
The Black Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans enter the WPIAL 3A 1 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Hempfield Area was overwhelmed by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 15-4, in a non-league challenge.
