Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Cromwell drops to Newington
April 12, 2023: Newington, CT 06111 Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT), 17-5 in a non-league battle.
The Nor'easters now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Watertown for a non-league battle on Friday, April 14. Newington will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 17-10 league win over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline battle, on Thursday, April 13. Cromwell will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 15-14 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT).
