Illinois High School Softball - Bureau Valley bounces Amboy
April 12, 2023: Manlius, IL 61338 Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Storm now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orion for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Bureau Valley will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 22-4 league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Amboy falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Forreston (Forreston, IL) to battle the Cardinals in a NUIC South challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Forreston won 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against West Carroll (Savanna, IL)
