River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Royal Knights now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fivay for a 5A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. River Ridge will face a Falcons squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Anclote falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Sharks host Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL) to face the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Gibbs lost 22-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL)
