Ohio High School Softball - Bard Early College nudges Lutheran West
April 12, 2023: Cleveland, OH 44135 Bard Early College Raptors (Cleveland, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Raptors now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host John Hay for a Cleveland Senate Athletic challenge on Thursday, April 13. Bard Early College will battle a squad coming off a 19-5 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Lutheran West falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Kirtland (Kirtland, OH) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Kirtland lost 19-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH)
