April 12, 2023: Flossmoor, IL 60422 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) softball team held off the visiting Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Homewood-Flossmoor moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Vikings host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to play the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Friday, April 14. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 14-1. Beecher won 15-0 in their recent league contest against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
In their next game, the Panthers play the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 13. Manteno will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Redskins come into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 9-2 league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).
