April 12, 2023: Richmond, VA 23225 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), by a margin of 12-7.
With the triumph, Petersburg moves its record to 1-6 on the year. The Crimson Wave travel to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to play the Generals in a Central contest on Thursday, April 13. The Generals come into the contest with a record of 6-1. Dinwiddie won 13-2 in their recent league contest against Prince George (Prince George, VA)
In their next game, the Falcons play the Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Huguenot will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 11-1 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
