Ohio High School Softball - United holds off Minerva
April 12, 2023: Hanoverton, OH 44423 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) and the visiting Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), witnessed United's softball squad tip Minerva by a count of 8-6.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leetonia for a Eastern Ohio Athletic match on Thursday, April 13.
With the loss, Minerva moves to 5-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Alliance (Alliance, OH) to meet the Aviators in a non-league match on Thursday, April 13. The Aviators go into the match with a record of 4-2. Alliance lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
