The Lions now hold a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ponchatoula for a 5A District 6 outing on Sunday, April 14. Covington will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA). The Green Wave record now stands at 15-11.
Next, the Lumberjacks confront the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 15. Bogalusa will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 24-8 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA).
