April 12, 2024: Douglasville, GA 30134 The Northgate Vikings baseball team (Newnan, GA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the host South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA)
The Spartans now hold a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league outing on Monday, April 15. South Paulding will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-13.
Next, the Vikings confront the Drew (Riverdale, GA) in a 5A Area 3 outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Northgate will attempt to advance on its 9-16 season record. The go into the outing with a 5-12 record after their 8-0 league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA).
