The Valley Christian Trojans held off the visiting Rio Rico Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parker for a non-league test on Friday, April 12. Valley Christian will confront a Broncs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Broncs record now stands at 6-7.

The Hawks (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Marana was nudged by Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ), 3-2, in a league test.
