April 12, 2024: Oklahoma City, OK 73118 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) and the visiting Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK), saw Bishop McGuinness's soccer squad overwhelm Lawton by a margin of 13-0.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam City West for a 6A District 1 test on Tuesday, April 16. Bishop McGuinness will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Mustang (Mustang, OK). The Patriots record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Lawton drops to 3-12 on the season. The Wolverines host Norman (Norman, OK) to meet the Tigers in a 6A District 1 test on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-7. Norman won 4-0 in their recent league test against Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK)
