Missouri High School Soccer - Union nudges Lindbergh
April 12, 2024: Union, MO 63084 Union Wildcats (Union, MO) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Sullivan Eagles (Sullivan, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Union will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO).
The Flyers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Lindbergh will face a Angels team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Angels record now stands at 11-0.
