North Carolina High School Softball - West Davidson nudges Central Davidson
April 12, 2024: Lexington, NC 27295 West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rowan for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. West Davidson will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Central Davidson falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to battle the Blue Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Blue Comets enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Asheboro lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)
