The Valley Christian Trojans routed the host Globe Tigers softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Friday's league battle.

The Trojans (20-2) will now prepare for their battle against San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Sabercats go into the 3A South Central battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, San Tan Foothills was routed by Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ), 27-2, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to American Leadership Academy - Anthem South for a 3A South Central battle on Monday, April 15. Globe will meet a Titans squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 4-12.
