Minnesota High School Softball - Paynesville bounces Long Prairie-Grey Eagle
April 12, 2024: Paynesville, MN 56362 Paynesville Bulldogs (Paynesville, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eden Valley-Watkins for a Central Minnesota challenge on Monday, April 15. Paynesville will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Thunder host Browerville (Browerville, MN) to battle the Tigers in a Prairie challenge on Monday, April 15. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Browerville won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN)
