Washington High School Softball - Moses Lake bounces Walla Walla
April 12, 2024: Moses Lake, WA 98837 Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Mavericks now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Davis for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Friday, April 19. Moses Lake will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Walla Walla falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Richland (Richland, WA) to face the Bombers in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 10-0. Richland won 22-0 in their recent league challenge against Pasco (Pasco, WA)
