Washington, DC High School Baseball - Benedictine edges Gonzaga
April 12, 2025: Washington, DC 20001 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) and the host Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC), saw Benedictine's baseball team gain a win over Gonzaga by a tally of 5-3.
The Cadets (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Highland by Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a Washington Catholic battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Gonzaga will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 8-7 league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA).
