April 12, 2025: St. Joseph, MO 64506 The Platte County Pirates the host Bishop LeBlond Eagles baseball squad by a score of 7-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Pirates encounter the Smithville Warriors (Smithville, MO) in a Class 5 District 8 outing, on Monday, April 14. Platte County will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 11-2 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO).
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Hornets enter the Class 2 District 15 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Penney was overwhelmed by West Platte (Weston, MO), 10-0, in a non-league outing.
