In Saturday's non-league game, the host Braswell Bengals baseball team scored a close 5-0 victory over the Ryan Raiders.

The Bengals (7-17) will now prepare for their game against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks enter the 6A Region I District 5 game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Hebron was overwhelmed by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
